JW Matheson talking with Erik

In this episode of the PT Podcast, Erik met up with JW Matheson in Seattle, WA during the Private Practice Section Annual Conference. They talk about getting into physical therapy and the role of science and evidence in medicine. I apologize about getting a little funky during the intro.

JW has a website, jwmatheson.com, where he only posts basic supplemental content from previous lectures. For more information on his course schedule head to the North American Seminars website, specifically the page for his course, Advanced Management of Lower Extremity Injuries in the Athlete. For more information on the clinic at which he practices, go to lsmpt.com.

He will be presenting an educational session at CSM this year with me, Ross Nakaji, and Rich Larsen. “The Future of Physical Therapy: Autonomy and Professionalism Through Evidence-based Practice and Novel Business Models” will be on Saturday February 11th from 10:30am – 12:30pm and is free to all attendees.
