PT Inquest Episode 198: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in Physical Therapy
Systemic racism is a topic that we have covered before on PT Inquest, but it has recently become the focus of worldwide attention. In this episode, we talked with Tim Vidale and Deidra Debnam from the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy’s (AASPT) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee to discuss some of the current conversations around race. We hope that this discussion can help give some insight and initial guidance for individuals and PT organizations to push positive and effective change regarding DEI.
